Our Facilities
The Lord has been very
good to us here at Mayfield
Road. He has given us facilities that
are comfortable, attractive, and spacious. Here are some peeks into
our church home. We invite you to hold your ceremony, reception,
gathering, or meeting here with us. We would be happy to set a
reservation for you. Please contact the
office for information.
Sanctuary
The Sanctuary seats
about 350. Access is by two main entryways: one quad-door at rear and
one double-door at front-left, and additional exits at each remaining
corner.
Decor consists of a
wide central aisle and two side aisles, each having three
blue-and-white-stained glass windows matching the one over the
baptistery. Carpeting is crimson from front to rear, and the pews set
upon white, flecked tile. Main lighting is by eight vertical, round
chandeliers and is accented by spot lights and recessed lighting.
Ceiling is honey maple planks with matching buttresses.
Permanent fixtures
include the pews, sound system, piano, and organ. Choir, orchestral,
and altar/ stage pieces can be moved or removed.

Fellowship Hall
Fellowship Hall seats
about 200. There are five entries: the main double-doors at rear and
four single doors at the four corners or the room. Each of these are
also exits, with the double-doors to the church main hallway, the northeast
and southeast single doors to the courtyard, the southwest single door
toward the front parking lot, and the northwest single door to the portico
with covered passenger loading and unloading to the west parking lot.
Decor is as shown and
consists of sconces between every other window, white window shades, and
the Joash Chest (pictured, center). There are two large, walk-in
closets containing tables (round and conference), stackable chairs (padded
and regular), podiums, lattice, and mobile sound equipment for use with the
Fellowship Hall's integrated speaker system.
Permanent fixtures
include moveable upright piano (pictured, leftward) and nestled cola
machine in entryway.

Bridal Suite / Front
Sitting Room
The Bridal Suite has
seating for five to seven on plush sofas and easy chairs and further
seating at the dinette-size table. Entry is through double French
doors with fitted white draperies. Doors connect to an independent
foyer (pictured), allowing area to be cordoned off. Foyer connects
directly to exits to front parking lot, dedicated restrooms, and the sanctuary's
widest entry point: the quad-doors at the end of the center aisle.
Bridal Suite decor is
as shown with easy chairs complementing sofa (pictured) and side tables
with lamps. Folding privacy screen/ room divider is provided in-room.
Carpeting matches that in the sanctuary. Foyer also has seating for a few
in small pews against the Bridal Suite wall.
Permanent fixtures in
the Bridal Suite include small nestled counter with sink, hanging hooks,
and additional spot lighting mimicking that above sanctuary stage area.

Classrooms
Our classrooms can
comfortably hold large classes and small groups alike. Most have
windows overlooking the children's play area behind the church. Adult
classrooms (pictured) are located upstairs and are accessible by elevator
and stairs. The church's extensive library, upstairs restrooms, and
upstairs coffee counter are close nearby. Senior classrooms are
located downstairs with the the Fellowship Hall, portico entry, and
downstairs coffee counter nearby. Primary rooms (pictured) and
children's classrooms are also located downstairs in a dedicated wing near
children's restrooms, water fountains, and secondary exit to west parking
lot. The youth enjoy a separate facility from the main building,
located off the west parking lot, complete with den, classrooms, kitchen,
and restrooms.
Adult and senior
classrooms include counter space and cabinetry for materials and
spreads. Children's rooms include nestled sink counters and a
massive, dedicated craft and resource room. Primary rooms are within
a specialized area with extra supervision, check in/out station, kitchenette,
and access to playground, main hallway, and secondary hallway/exit.

Hospitality Kitchen
"Dedicated in
loving memory to Suzanne Brake, a 'Martha' blessed with the gift of
hospitality, a cornerstone of Mayfield
Road Baptist
Church, August
2002." The kitchen is used and cleaned at least weekly (for the
Wednesday night suppers). There are two entries to allow for easy
access and work flow. Both doors connect to main hall area next to
the Fellowship Hall.
The kitchen is quite
large and equipped to prepare food for a large group, as it is used for the
church's Wednesday Night Suppers. It includes a wide central island,
sweeping counter space, industrial stove and oven, microwave, large
sectional sink, ice maker, refrigerator and freezer, cookware, warmers and
servers, and walk-in pantry/ supply closet. Place settings and
service (plates, bowls, flatware, etc.) are not provided as the church
generally uses disposable tableware.
Granada House
The Granada House is a
separate facility from the main building of the church. It is located
on the northwest corner of the church campus, adjacent to the church's west
entrance parking lot. It is currently being used for small groups
including our New Members and College Sunday School classes.
