Mayfield Road Baptist
Church is committed to mission work here in Arlington, TX
and around the world. We have a burning desire to
fulfill our Lord's great commission!
Domestic Missions
Building with Texas Baptist
Men
We work with experienced
retirees who help Baptist churches and organizations build
facilities they otherwise could not afford. Join us as
we bless others and receive blessings by helping those in
need and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. The men
of Mayfield Road Baptist Church will travel together to the
job site and lodge at a local hotel (provided). Church
members may support these projects by taking part in
missions, praying, and/or giving a designated offering to
help cover travel expenses.
Building for the glory of God,
the Texas Baptist Men Volunteer Retiree Builders Ministry
operates under the umbrella of the Texas Baptist Men of the
Baptist General Convention of Texas, 333 N. Washington,
Dallas, Texas.
Contact
the church office for additional information. Signup
sheets are available!

July 10-13, 2007, join the Texas Baptist Men in
Pflugerville, Texas for a church building
construction project. Men who have a
desire to serve God should sign up for this
mission project. We will be helping build
a 6,000 ft. church building. |
Backyard Bible Clubs
Something extraordinary is
happening in Arlington, Texas. People are "coloring
outside the lines" of traditional church work to take the
gospel to the people, one person at a time. Followers
of Jesus from across denominations are hard at work,
gathering people for Bible studies in apartment club houses,
mobile homes, and neighborhoods-- wherever anyone is open.
Enjoy a good time of fellowship, meeting new friends, and
making a difference in lives of children.

July 11-13, 2007, Mayfield Road will be working
with children through Rainbow Express, the
backyard bible club of Mission Arlington, and
will hold events in multifamily housing
communities and other locations around
Arlington. We will prepare and share Bible
stories, perform puppet shows, lead children's
worship, work with crafts, and serve snacks. |
