Sanctuary Choir
The Mayfield Road
Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir is a vital part of the Music Ministry.
These dedicated believers prepare each week to help lead the congregation
in worship of our Lord. The Sanctuary Choir also sings to glorify God
on special occasions, such as our annual celebrations of Good Friday and
Easter, our nation's freedom under God, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
The Sanctuary Choir is
open to all who are at least sixteen-years-old, and rehearsals are on
Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Suite. There is no formal
entrance; simply join us in glorifying God by using the talents He has
given us!
Student Choir
The Student Choir of
Mayfield Road Baptist Church is open to all students who are in seventh
grade through college. This choir rehearses every Sunday at 4:45 p.m.
in the Music Suite and performs in the Sunday evening worship service once
each month.
We are currently
working out of the musical collection "Amazing God  ." As we
present music in worship, we also present drama that correlates with the
music.
As the choir continues
to grow, we look forward to touring in the near future!
Children's Choir
Mayfield Road
Baptist Church has a fully graded Children’s
Choir Ministry. We have children’s choir from preschool
three-year-olds through sixth grade. The choirs are divided further
into Half Notes Choir (preschool three-year-olds), Whole Notes Choir
(preschool four- and five-year-olds), Music Makers Choir (first through
third graders), and Young Musicians Choir (fourth through sixth graders).
Each of these choir
groups meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. for an hour of music, drama,
and puppets. The fun is unending!
Our preschool choirs
sing only in the Christmas and end-of-year programs. Our graded
choirs (first through sixth graders) sing in worship once per semester, in
the Christmas and end-of-year programs, and for other special occasions.
